Due to the remoteness of the area, there would be no land support. I would be travelling by jet ski and the 18ft. Quintrex support boat. I am documenting the journey for a program being made of the trip.

I was very excited to be a part of the leg since I had never been to this area and have always wanted to go there. It's wild beauty and amazing scenery did not disappoint me.

Along the way we camped on some very remote beaches and had a scary encouter with a big saltwater crock who was outside my tent early AM when I went out to have a pee. There, not more that 8 foot away was a hefty 9 foot crock who stared back at me as I lept back in the tent. He strolled back into the water some 20 yards away and hung there watching us until we left about 8 am the next morning. It was skitzy to say the least.

We were also treated to a little shark interaction at one of the Paspalley Pearl farms. Standing on the back of a large pontoon platform hanging off the mother ship, we played tug of war with 12ft tiger shark and a large Queen fish we'd caught. Three large chomps and the Queeny was gone, rope and all.

The Kimberleys were absolutely amazing and the few people we met along the way were extremely friendly and helpful. I will keep you up to date as to when you can expect to see the documentary.
